My Grandma Y. has taught me many lessons in my years.
How to properly set a beautiful dining table.
How to sit like a lady.
How to make the BEST Thanksgiving dressing in the WORLD!
How to sing in perfect harmony.
How important it is to NOT go to bed angry.
AND...................
How to clean up the house BEFORE you go on a trip, so when you get back you don't feel like you are GOING OUT OF YOUR MIND BECAUSE THERE IS LAUNDRY TO DO, AND DISHES TO BE DONE, AND BEDS TO BE MADE, AND PAPERS EVERYWHERE.
The lesson to be learned here...Listen to Grandma...she always knows what she is talking about! Now if I just would have gotten her genes to be a whiz with getting all of this done! Unfortunately, every last ounce of that was passed on to my elder sister!
Oh well, off to change the laundry, get Max in his freshly made bed, start another load of laundry, and then on to bed! Then the work on this ol' house starts tomorrow. I've only got a week until Ang and Dan get here!

I hate coming home to a messy house when I've been gone. Your grandma sounds a lot like mine, priceless.

Not every one is as blessed as you to have Grandma teach important things in life :)
My dad however was very organized and planned, i think i got that from him. i do the same before i leave out on a trip. the house will be neat and clean to come back to. i infact also change/wash the sheets and pillow covers so that w come back to a clean bed :)
